Love Nudge For Couples App: 5 Love Languages Review & Giveaway!

PSA: Valentine’s Day is almost here! While it’s true that you don’t need an occasion to show to show you care celebrating Valentine’s Day is a good excuse for a romantic gesture. You may be making plans to help your sweetie feel extra special but, how can you be sure that you’re showing affection in the way that means the most to your mate?

Relationships take work but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun! Whether you’re engaged, getting to know each-other, or married the Love Nudge App can help you understand each other’s Love Languages to better show you care.

The Love Nudge for Couples App is based off of Author and Pastor Dr. Gary Chapman’s The Five Love Languages book series. The app is very straightforward and user friendly. It really is like it is described: “a fitness app for relationships”.

It was fun to answer the questions with my husband and learn our preferred Love Languages. He seemed a little less thrilled than me to answer all of the questions but he was genuinely interested in the results!

I appreciated that the app broke all the data down to percentages and ranked our Love Languages from most to least meaningful. Words of Affirmation and Quality Time are almost equally important to me and I’m glad the app didn’t choose just one to focus on. We both have a combination so, it was helpful to see how we compared in each category.

The love tank and nudging are cute however, the push function of the app may be better for newer couples. The ideas provided in the goals are great but, I’m not sure they all  need to be scheduled. My husband’s primary love language is physical touch. I understand having a reminder to book a date night but I am not sure that I need a prompt to cuddle on the couch or look him in the eye!

Even if you don’t use the app long term it can be a good way to stay mindful of your partner’s feelings and establish good habits to benefit your relationship! It’s definitely worth a try.

My husband and I have been a couple for over a decade but, we are always evolving and changing as people. This app was a good way for us to check up on our communication and make sure we’re doing what it takes to keep our bond growing strong.
